Syfy直接预订12集超自然题材剧集《Superstition》，本剧背景设置在新奥尔良外的一个神秘的小镇，由XLrator Media和Mario Van Peebles制作。Mario Van Peebles将和Barry Gordon一同担任制作人，还将执笔、执导、参演该剧；由Joel Anderson Thompson出品。本剧将在2017年年初展开制作，将于同年晚些时候播出。本剧主要讲述了Mosley一家生活在新奥尔良郊外一个虚构的小镇上，他们开了镇上唯一一家殡仪馆，同时也熟悉这个小镇黑暗的秘密和历史。镇上凶宅知名﹑墓地越来越多﹑镇民怪异﹑有很多灵异现象，而这一切的始作俑者就是古老而神秘的恶棍The Dredge。
