该剧是《重启之极海听雷》的IP人物番外短剧，由南派三叔原著改编，讲述了《重启》中刘丧、王盟祖先刘浅墨和南门灯海的探案故事。
本片荣获2009年青少年选择奖最佳喜剧片女主角奖（Anne Hathaway）。
