NHK連続テレビ小説『あまちゃん』の脚本を手掛けた宮藤官九郎（46）が、初めて大河ドラマの脚本に挑む、2019年放送の第58作目のタイトルが『いだてん～東京オリムピック噺（ばなし）～』に決定し、主演が、中村勘九郎（35）と阿部サダヲ（46）に決まった。
