《我们的连队》是由李俊岩导演，中央电视台影视部、北京军区政治部战友艺术中心、江西电视台电视剧制作中心联合制作，以一批新兵从入伍到逐渐成长为合格士兵的过程为故事脉络。
1895年，一对男女神童降世。两个孩子在同一时辰出生在上海西城某家医院，他们的母亲在产后离开了人间。皇太后因得知天命神童能解救天下贫苦的百姓，便下令在他们出世后立即除掉。尚蔲为了保护天命神童的安全，安排法国人马丁将他们带去法国，并将他们抚养长大。皇太后又派忠臣普顿前往法国追杀这对神童，因这对神童相握手时，会产生无穷的魔力，双方于是展开了激烈的斗争，天命神童战胜了邪恶势力并最终返回到中国；通过更换父亲的碑文，救活了他们自己的父亲。随后天命神童便丧失了魔力成为了两名普通的孩子，并开始了新的生活。
期间，有神秘女子（文咏珊饰）到监狱探望Laughing，这女子隶属比警队更高层次的保安局，Laughing入狱是再次担当卧底角色。当日，杀苏星柏是另有其人，保安局副局长（麦长青饰）怀疑整件事跟潜藏警队的黑警有关，所以借势要Laughing入狱调查。
1977年北京。北方大学的校园中从未有过今天的热闹场面，一批饱经人生磨难的"老三届"们重新获得了渴望已旧的求学机会，他们即将续写逝去的青春断代史，用他们特殊的人生阅历和饱满的生活激情，以次为生活的起点，在以后的岁月中不断认识和发现自己，寻找和实践着自己的人生理想，从而成为极富特色的"七七级""七八级"，逐步成为我们今天社会的中坚力量。
崔宇成剧中饰演方宇蓝，他有三个姐姐，对女生很有礼貌。该剧另一个主演政宰由安贤浩饰演，政宰是一个烦恼着如何选择自己的性别的人物。
