作为老师的姜大雁（宋佳 饰）各方面条件都不错，可三十四岁了，依然孓身一人。大雁的婚姻一直没有着落成了姜家上下万分操心的问题。于是各种相亲和朋友介绍接踵而来。为了配合家人的好意，大雁参加了形形色色的相亲，见识了各色各样的人。在人海之中，也不是没有遇到合适的。遇到了一个各方面都还不错的公务员方泉（郭涛 饰）。本想进一步接触看看，可人家目的明确是为了更好的发展而选择结婚；弟媳这边的上司彭坦（周杰 饰）各方面条件都很好，为人也幽默风趣，但其母则严厉苛刻，于是也不了了之；电台主持人苏如是（刘德凯 饰）是大雁所教学生的家长，颇具成熟男人的魅力，很是吸引大雁。但为了女儿，苏如是还是选择了和前妻复合。大雁也只能无奈放手。
