早在2016年时就由独立制片工作室「Tryangle Films」筹划拍摄，靠着集资网站来募款筹措资金，虽然一度被拥有《哈利波特》系列版权的片商华纳兄弟以侵犯权为由要求下架，但经过制作团队多次的沟通和协商后，华纳终于确定全面放行啦！
