《炊事班的故事3》依然以空军基层连队一个炊事班作为典型环境，讲述发生在几个年轻炊事员身上的30个不同的有趣故事。在第三部中，炊事班的老兵面临着退伍，洪班长去宾馆当厨师，老高和大周回老家，帅胡去军校学习；科技强军、现代部队建设、人性化带兵、新的营养理念将带给炊事班全新的挑战。
