该剧以今日上海一场无情的企业之争为背景，讲述了在上公馆这座老洋房中发生的一系列爆笑且充满悬疑的故事。在情节发展过程中，除了随时加入编排当下即时热点事件，也会将中国传统节日、节气等各种庆祝活动融入其中，全剧共100集，每集相对独立却又有主线串联，剧情中81个老物件串联的背后是一个完整的故事。

这时，黑帮想找Micheal帮自己去偷一些重要东西，但Micheal有自己原则，坚决不答应。这日，玲要结婚了，当她踏上巴士离开时，Micheal才恍然大悟，原来自己根本不能失去她！Micheal在巴士后面追玲，而此时黑帮来报复Micheal，子弹没射中Micheal，玲却不幸中弹身亡了。Micheal和黑帮杀手在巴士上展开肉搏，巴士最后不幸坠崖全部乘客身亡。

尽管CW电视网今日宣布续订周五档播出的口碑音乐戏剧《疯狂前女友》（Crazy Ex-Girlfriend）第四季，但是该剧的女主角兼剧集联合主创Rachel Bloom在社交网站上宣布《疯狂前女友》第四季ysgou.cc将为全剧的最终季，此前Rachel Bloom就曾经表示希望该剧能拍摄四季。同样在周五档期播出的另一部剧集《处女情缘》（Jane The Virgin）同样也被续订了第五季，但是早前女主角Gina Rodriguez也曾表示第五季将是最终季。这两部收视一般、但为CW连续两年拿下金球奖喜剧类最佳女主角的剧集可能都会在2018-2019播出季画上句号。
