该剧讲述了一所影视类高校里，发生在两个宿舍，八个年轻人身上的故事。反映了当代大学生，离开父母怀抱，独立面对社会，面对成长，面对每一个崭新的人生课题时，所发生的荒诞、搞笑，也是这个年龄人所特有的故事。从他们天真、清纯的视角，反映出了很多社会的热点问题。八位年轻人，四男四女，来自2个宿舍，这两个宿舍，一墙之隔，在阳台上相互交流。19集以系列剧的模式呈现，每集独立成为一个故事，其中讲述了梦想、科技、环保、心里救助、友谊、星座、就业、追星等妙趣横生的小故事，展现了当代大学生青春、活力、正能量但充满奇思妙想的生活。
